Meet Mr McElrath

Mr. McElrath is a product of the Council Rock School District.  He attended Holland and Rolling Hills Elementary Schools, Newtown and Holland Middle Schools, and finally, Council Rock High School- North.  After graduation from CR, Mr. McElrath set off to New York City's Wagner College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  He then worked in the business world for 12 years.   While the business field provided opportunities for personal growth and valuable experience, teaching was Mr. McElrath's true calling.  A Masters of Education degree from Holy Family University enabled him to become a teacher at Richboro Elementary School.  After teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, he decided that 6th grade was his favorite.  He teaches science, language arts, math, and social studies.  Mr. McElrath also leads the After School Sports program and assists with STEM club, the musical, and RES ecology.  Erin is Mr. McElrath's daughter.  Her favorite school subjects are social studies and science.  She also dances on her ballet, jazz, and lyrical teams.  Mark, his stepson, is a teacher in the Neshaminy School District.  Mark and his wife and daughters very much enjoy their Phillies season tickets.  Mrs. McElrath is Dr. Kelly McElrath, a Behavior Analyst/Professor of Psychology and a consultant for the Bucks County I.U.  Outside the world of education, the McElraths enjoy a life of faith, family, fitness, and nutrition.
